FAQ’s

Do You Deliver?

YES! We do deliver throughout North and South San Diego County. Delivery fees apply and are determined by location.

How early in advance do I need to place an order?

We ask that you give us at least 2-3 weeks notice so we can order supplies if needed.

Do you take last minute orders?

Last minute orders of 1 week or less can be taken depending on availability and the complexity of the design. There will be an extra fee for rush orders.

What is Fondant?

Fondant is an edible, dough-like, pliable icing primarily made from sugar, water, and  gelatin.  It is rolled out with a rolling pin and draped over cakes to create a smooth and firm finish. It is also used to create 3D sculptures, figurines, flowers, etc.

Our fondant is also made by scratch using marshmallows.

Is Fondant Edible?

Yes! All fondant pieces are edible. If you don’t want to eat it, you can peel it off and just eat the cake and frosting.

3D sculptures, figurines, flowers, etc. are edible, however, while safe to consume, they are sometimes removed before eating, particularly if they have dried out or contain additives like Tylose powder or gumpaste for structural support. Some figurines may contain non-edible dowels for support.

All of our fondant cakes have a layer of frosting underneath. You get the best of both worlds!

How Much Does A Custom Cake Cost?

Simple cakes (frosting only, no fondant) start at $75. Cakes covered in fondant start at $250.

Cost will vary depending on the size of the cake and the amount of detail you want.

Can You Work Around My Budget?

Yes. Your cake will be customized to the way you want. If the design you are requesting is out of your budget, we can discuss different design options to help with cost.

What Types Of Payment Do You Take?

We accept cash, most major credit cards, Venmo, Cash App, Paypal and Zelle.
